Collins English for Business: Listening shortlisted for ELTons award

We are delighted to announce that Collins English for Business: Listening has been shortlisted for the British Council ELTons 2012 award for Innovation in Learner Resources.

The ELTons are the only international awards recognising innovation in English language teaching (ELT). An independent panel of English language teaching professionals shortlists and judges all the entries, and the three main qualities the ELTons judges look out for are innovation, effectiveness and practicality. Collins English for Business: Listening has been shortlisted for this prestigious award because of its innovative approach helping students cope with the challenges of understanding naturally-spoken English. The accompanying audio CD in the back of English for Business: Listening features 100% authentic recordings of real business people. The content in the book helps learners devise strategies to deal with ungraded and unexpected material – just like in real life.
